Melanie Plasmier Melanie Plasmier is the Practice Manager at Pet Vet. She is responsible for the overall operations of the clinic. Melanie joined our staff in October 2008. She has worked in veterinarian medicine for 19 years and has a diverse background in all aspects of clinic operations. The best part of my job is “working closely with my staff to provide efficient, comprehensive, compassionate care to our clients and patients. I was raised in Huntley and I am happy to be here again, working in this growing community.” In her free time she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, volunteering, reading and gardening. |

Katie Balmes is a Receptionist and also an Assistant Office Manager. She started at Pet Vet in November 2005. She lives with 2 Italian Greyhounds. She says the best aspect of her job is, “getting to see all the puppies and kittens.” Received her Associate of Business Management in May 2009 from McHenry Country College.. In her free time she enjoys working with horses and going four wheeling.
